Meadow
Its easy to create a meadow, you simply need to select an area of your school field and rope it off so that it does not get a regular cut. You will be surprised at the number of different plants that appear. Just arrange to have it cut in September.
Another way is to remove the turf in your chosen area, so that new plants do not have to compete with the grass, and sow some wildflower seeds. Corncockle, poppy and cornflower look great in a meadow, you can sow them in March or September/October. Arrange for it to be cut in September.
