Pots on Sticks

Place upturned pots on sticks. Fill them with dried grass or newspaper to give the bugs places to hide. Earwigs like to use these high-rise homes.

Any type of pot can be used but heavier ones are best as they will not blow away in the wind.

I usually use bamboo canes about a metre long with small earthenware pots on the top.
